The number of burials per grave varies between cemeteries.  Some graves can accommodate up to three burials.  Advance arrangements are often made where families wish to be placed together.  Please check with your funeral director or the cemetery either at the time of booking the funeral or when you pre arrange your burial or memorial site so that your request can be investigated.
