FAQ Home Burials

Uncle James has died and been buried.  The Coroner advises that he has specimens from Uncle James that he no longer requires and they need to be disposed of.  What do I do?

Most cemeteries and crematoriums will bury or cremate specimens providing that the original service took place at their establishment.  The first enquiry should be with your funeral director as most establishments require their involvement and they are well aware of the cemetery and crematorium requirements in this area.
