FAQ Home Cremations

Following cremation, what type of container should I purchase to store the ashes?
The crematorium provides a container for all ashes.  However, there are numerous memorial urns available – they can be made of hardwood, granite, pottery, stone, marble, bronze, copper or other precious stone.  If you are going to memorialise the ashes in a cemetery garden or wall, we recommend that you contact the cemetery or crematorium to obtain specific details relating to container size, material etc.
