2011 Training Opportunities
Industry Education & Training
Please consider these options carefully - further training is beneficial for both employers and employees and will lead to increased job satisfaction, improved staff morale and provide career progression within your organisation. There are both Level III Certificates and Statement of Attainments (SOA) available, including: - Safe Grave Techniques (SOA): Course No. 19441 - Exhumation Techniques (SOA): Course No. 19442 - Working Effectively in the Funeral Industry (SOA): Course No. 19443 - Certificate III in Cemetery and Crematoria Operations - Certificate III in Grave Digging, Grounds and Maintenance. There are also learning packages for employers, which are designed specifically for your organisational workforce development needs. The skills learnt from these packages can also be credited towards the Certificate IIIs. Learning packages include: - Grounds Maintenance Program - Basic Construction Program. Studying is made easy with delivery options being flexible and tailored to suit each individual. There is no need for employees to have formal qualifications to start a Statement of Attainment, which will in turn be credited towards Certificate III qualifications. Previous work experience can also be credited towards a Certificate through Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL). RPL is the process that acknowledges prior skills and knowledge. These could have been gained in other courses, life experience and previous or current employment. RPL allows you to credit your employee’s skill against a course of study. To enrol in any of these courses or to express an interest, please contact:
