Information on upcoming events

Just a brief note to highlight the Events List and some of its features: When you are logged in on the website:
  • There is a 'box' at the top right hand side captioned "Upcoming Events". It  lists all the upcoming events the CCANSW is organising or believes might be relevant to members.
  • There is a link on your user menu captioned "Events Management" - click it to see a list of all events, past, present and future.
When you click "Events Management" you will see a tabulated list of events. You can sort the list by date column simply by clicking on the column's title "Date". Successive clicks will alternate the sort order between ascending and descending.

You can see the details for an event by clicking on the  Event's name link.   For events that have long descriptions there may be a "More..." link to display more information.

The administrators of the site will link relevant attachments, stories etc to the detail of the event. So, if you are looking for agendas etc for a meeting they would normally be linked in the ATTACHMENTS section of the detail.

Finally, there is a check box for you to indicate if you are going to attend the event. It would be extremely satisfying for me and useful to others if members were to use this feature.

Of course, as always, if there is something on the website that isn't working for you as it should do let me know.

Thanks

Pierre
