Some years ago the Wollombi Valley Chamber of Commerce initiated a project to build a monument to Wollombi's history and to produce a booklet about the Wollombi Cemetery. They recently obtained funding assistance from NSW Department of State and Regional Development, Cessnock City Council, Wollombi Valley Progress Association, and local contributors, which allowed both projects to be realised. The fine stonework of the monument is the work of local stonemason Albert Kraan of Wollombi Sandstone. Source: Cessnock Advertiser

The Index is intended to inform the public about members' cemeteries and operational standards.
