Cremation Society of Virginia Creates Smart Phone App

Posted by: Graham Boyd

NBC29.com reports:

There is an application for just about everything, and now the Cremation Society of Virginia has created the first app to help you after the death of a loved one - or if you just want to plan ahead.

The Cremation Society of Virginia, based in Charlottesville and Richmond, prides itself on staying ahead of technology and simplifying all aspects of dealing with the loss of a family member. The new app provides information about cremation (including an informational video), a step-by-step questionnaire to report a death, and a marketplace to buy cremation packages. The app also provides one touch calling and directions to their locations.
