ANN: Safe Graves Techniques

Your attention is drawn to the next round of Safe Grave Techniques announced for 27th To 29th Oct 2009 (Training)  and 26th to 27th Nov 2009 ( Assessment). The program is designed to improve the safety and technical skills of gravediggers and those who work in related roles. The training provided will help protect customers and staff; reduce the risk of WorkCover fines and further develop the skills of staff. The five day program includes three days of tuition and practical activities and two days of formal assessment.

The course covers the skills and knowledge needed to apply relevant OH&S legislation and codes of practice including safety, security and emergency procedures, manual handling procedures and safe equipment operation to the processes and techniques used whilst performing tasks involved in grave digging.
