THE Chinese section of the Harden Murrumburrah Cemetery will get a much needed upgrade this year after generous donations and grants. It's reported that the first stage of upgrading and beautifying the Chinese section of the cemetery is to repair and replace headstones.

The Murrumburrah Harden Historical Society and with the help of volunteers, has been raising money finally reaching her target to be able to start the ball rolling on for stage one.

“We received $918 from gold coin donations at the Australia Day breakfast this year, $1000 from the Murrumburrah Harden Historical Society, $258 from private donations as well as a great donation of $2200 from the Kruger Trust,” a spokesperson said.
