I don’t know anything about selection of a monument. Where do I start?

It is always advisable to start at your cemetery or crematorium office.  You will be able to check the accuracy of the records and be advised as to permissible memorials and monuments.  The cemetery or crematorium may arrange the memorial and installation for you or, if necessary, they will refer you to monumental masons who can manufacture and install the monument on the site, on your behalf.  Many cemeteries or crematoriums have heritage guidelines to help determine the best type of memorial.
