The NSW Government is seeking feedback on their draft Perpetual Care Framework from cemetery operators and the wider community.

The purpose of this framework is to establish clear guidelines for the ongoing care and maintenance of cemeteries and memorial parks now and into the future, balancing sustainable and cost-effective site management with dignity for the interred and their loved ones.

Public consultation on the Perpetual Care Framework is open until 27 March 2026.
